About Umag

Owing to its indentedness, easy access and variety of landscape, the Umag Riviera, stretching from the Dragonja River in the north to Ladin gaj in the south, is one of the most attractive destinations of active tourism.
The wide range of additional activities is the main feature of Umag's tourist offer. Clean beaches, sailing, water-skiing, diving, spear-fishing are only some of the organized watersports, or one can choose football, boccie, mini-golf, cycling...
Those fond of historic monuments will enjoy a walk through the old nucleus (UMACUS) that is an example of medieval urban architecture. The Baroque parish church (1730) houses a fragment of the Gothic polyptych from the 15th c. The narrow streets in the old part of town are often venues of performances and classical music concerts.

Important traditional events:
Feast of St. Pelegrin (end of May), Our Lady of the Snow (August 5), Concert Summer, ATP Tournament Croatia Open (end of July).
